Hollywood star Will Ferrell has purchased a stake in Leeds United.
Ferrell, 56, is expected to be announced as an investor in the Championshop club by 49ers Enterprise in the coming days.

He will take on a minor stake and will not be involved in day-to-day decisions.
He joins a raft of celebrities who have already invested via the club's US owners, including another acting legend Russell Crowe, golfers Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas and Olympic legend Michael Phelps.
Ferrell, whose wealth is estimated at around £127m, also follows a trend of Hollywood A-listers investing in clubs in British football.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have made a splash since buying Wrexham, taking them from the National League to League One where they have been celebrating their recent success in Las Vegas.

NFL stars Tom Brady and JJ Watt have been heavily involved in the UK following their investments in Birmingham and Burnley, respectively.
However, Birmingham have since been relegated from the Championship to League One on the final day of the season.
Ferrell, who is worth an estimated £130m, already owns a stake in MLS side LAFC, is said to have fallen in love with English football and has been a regular visitor at grounds.
He has also been seen semi-regularly at Wrexham alongside Hollywood pals Reynolds and McElhenney, while he also took in some Premier League games last season.

In February 2023, he was at the Etihad for Man City's 3-1 win over Aston Villa and gatecrashed Sky Sports' broadcast to shake Roy Keane's hand and joke with Gary Neville that everyone was bored stiff by him.
“I don’t really have a side over here," he explained. "I just enjoy following all the storylines. It’s obviously a very good league.”
He later posed for pictures with Jack Grealish and some of his Man City teammates, while he also managed to take in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Everton during his trip to Britain.
Leeds, meanwhile, are gearing up for the Championship play-offs after missing out on automatic promotion.
Ipswich pipped them to second place and they must now go through the play-offs to get back to the Premier League.
Leeds must face Norwich, with the winner going on to play Southampton or West Brom at Wembley.
