Aston Villa and Stoke City transfer target to make £12 million Premier League switch

According to the Daily Mail, Luton Town starlet James Justin will be making a £12 million move to join Premier League side Leicester City, amid transfer interest from Aston Villa and Stoke City.

A number of clubs from both the Premier League and the Championship have been linked with moves for Luton Town starlet James Justin this summer, and it seems that it will be Leicester City who win the chase for the young star’s signature.

Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Southampton also lodged bids for the full-back, as did newly promoted Aston Villa. We reported here on The72 that Villa had had a £7.5 million bid for Justin turned down earlier in the transfer window, and they seemingly did not follow that up with another offer, with Leicester taking the driving seat in the chase for the Hatters star.

Now, Justin looks set to make the jump up to the Premier League without playing in the Championship. But, his strong performances for Luton Town last season prove that he can go on to become a special talent at the top of the English game.

The 21-year-old played 52 times for Luton across all competitions in a highly successful season  at Kenilworth Road. Playing at both left-back and right-back under the management of Nathan Jones an Mick Harford, Justin scored three goals and provided nine assists for his teammates as Luton went on to win promotion to the Championship, winning the league title in doing so.
